Privacy Policy

Berozgar Jobs is a Pakistan-focused job marketplace operated from Lahore, Pakistan. We help candidates discover roles and apply for work, and we help employers publish jobs and manage hiring workflows.

• Account information, including your name, email address, profile image, account role, verification state, and the sign-in methods linked to your account.
• Candidate information you choose to provide, including contact details, location, headline, skills, experience, education, salary expectations, work preferences, and a resume.
• Employer and organization information, including company details, team membership, company-domain email verification, job listings, hiring notes, interview details, and applicant workflow activity.
• Marketplace activity, including saved jobs, applications, application answers, status changes, external-application clicks, notifications, reports, and audit records.
• Technical and security information, including session data, IP address, browser and device information, request logs, timestamps, and information needed to prevent abuse.
• Website usage information such as pages visited, interactions, approximate location, referrer, browser, operating system, device category, and unexpected errors.
• Support correspondence, including your email address, message contents, attachments you choose to send, and our replies.

We do not ask employers to upload incorporation certificates, tax certificates, identity documents, or other organization-verification evidence at this stage.

• Provide, secure, maintain, and improve the marketplace.
• Create accounts, verify email addresses, authenticate users, and recover accounts.
• Publish employer and job information that is intended to be public.
• Process applications and support employer hiring workflows.
• Send service messages about accounts, applications, invitations, and security.
• Investigate abuse, enforce platform rules, resolve disputes, and protect users.
• Respond to support, privacy, safety, and account-access requests.
• Measure aggregate usage and diagnose reliability or performance problems.
• Comply with applicable legal obligations and valid official requests.

We do not sell personal information.

Published company profiles and job listings are public. Information in a candidate application is shared with authorized members of the employer responsible for that job. Employers must use applicant information only for legitimate recruitment and hiring.

A candidate profile is available to employers only when the candidate enables employer visibility. Private employer notes, hiring stages, and internal activity are restricted to authorized members of that employer workspace.

Demo workspaces use isolated synthetic data. Actions taken in a demo are not published as real jobs or applications.

We use trusted service providers for website and database hosting, file storage, privacy-conscious analytics and error reporting, authentication, transactional email, and customer support. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services for Berozgar Jobs.

These providers process information on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms. Their systems may process or store information outside Pakistan. We may also share information when required by law, to protect people or the service, or as part of a business reorganization where appropriate safeguards apply.

Berozgar Jobs uses essential cookies or similar browser storage for authentication, security, and demo-workspace state. Disabling essential storage may prevent account and workspace features from working.

We use privacy-conscious analytics and error reporting to understand how people use the site, find confusing experiences, and fix technical problems. Interaction recordings are masked to hide page content and form entries. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, resume contents, or application answers for these purposes.

Account, marketplace, and organization records are kept using managed service providers. Candidate resumes are private and available only through access-controlled downloads. Approved company logos are public. Support correspondence is kept by our email provider. Passwords are not stored in plain text.

We use access controls, encrypted connections, validation, rate limits, audit records, and file checks designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Please use a unique password and report suspected account misuse promptly.

We keep information while an account or organization is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, protect the marketplace, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit records, and meet legal obligations. Different records may require different retention periods.

You can permanently delete your account from the Account page. We erase your sign-in methods, profile, preferences, saved jobs, notifications, uploaded resume, and other personal account data. Existing applications may remain only as anonymous operational records without your name, contact details, resume, links, answers, notes, or candidate profile. This preserves basic hiring counts and pipeline history without identifying you.

A shared employer organization remains available to its other members after an individual account is deleted. A person who is the only owner must transfer ownership before leaving a shared organization. An organization with no other members is deleted with its owner's account. Deleted information may remain in encrypted backups until those backups expire, but it is not restored as an active account. Contact support@berozgarjobs.com if you cannot use the self-service control or need help with a privacy request.

You can review and update supported account, candidate, and organization fields from the product. You can disable employer visibility, replace a resume, withdraw an eligible application, delete your account, or contact us to request access or correction of personal information that cannot be managed directly.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Some requests may be limited where retention is required by applicable law or necessary to protect other users.

Berozgar Jobs is intended for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information through the service.

We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email when appropriate.
